2019 CIFTIS • World Top 500 Companies CBD Forum held in Beijing
(DRTT News) On May 28th，2019, “2019 CIFTIS (China International Fair for Trade in Services) · World Top 500 Companies CBD Forum”was held at Lanng Hall, Vintage of Beijing CBD. The Forum was guided by Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) and co-organized by Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, People’s Government of Chaoyang District, Beijing and Development Research Think Tank of China (DRTT). The Forum’s theme was “Opening-up and Innovation, Leading Integration and New Development of International Trade in Services”. Ma Jiantang, Party Secretary of the DRC and Wang Bingnan, Vice Minister of Commerce attended the Forum and delivered keynote speeches; Wang Hong, Vice Mayor of People's Government of Beijing Municipality made a welcome address.
Su Wei, Deputy Secretary General of National Development and Reform Commission and Randall Riopelle, Country Manager for China, Korea and Mongolia, International Finance Corporation of World Bank also made speeches at the first session. Long Guoqiang, Vice President of the DRC hosted the session of opening ceremony and keynote speech. The Forum was attended by about 200 delegates, including leaders and experts from related ministries, delegates from related departments of Beijing Municipality and Chaoyang District, world top 500 companies, organizations from home and abroad, think tanks and media.

Launching Ceremony of “World Top 500 Enterprises and Multinational Companies Alliance” was held before the roundtable dialogue. Ma Jiantang, Wang Hong, Wang Hao and part of entrepreneurs from world top 500 companies witnessed the launching ceremony. The Alliance, initiated by People’s Government of Chaoyang District, Beijing, DRTT and part of the world top 500 companies, plays an important role in establishing the long-term interaction mechanism among high-level think tanks, local governments and key businesses. “Gathering in Chaoyang，Leading the Future” -Launching Ceremony of Major Cooperation Projects was also held. China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has become the largest national-level, international and comprehensive platform for trade in services. CIFTIS takes “openness, innovation, intelligence and integration” as its theme, continues to implement China’s strategy of opening up to the outside world and pitches in further openness of China’s service industry.
